Lost Species Day - Pollinators Edition

Hungry Brain, 2319 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL

16 songwriters have written songs about pollinators for a good cause! $20 cover

Lost Species Day is a chance for us to reflect on the impact we've had on our animals and plants. Since 2017, songwriters in Chicago have gathered to perform songs we've written about plants and animals, and to raise money for an organization that helps with conservation.

This year, we're singing songs about pollinators and raising money for Westside Bee Boyz. Located in the heart of Chicago’s Westside, Westside Bee Boyz, LLC is uniquely positioned to serve as a business incubator and learning lab. By incorporating sustainable methods into neglected and abandoned properties, Westside Bee Boyz serves as an Urban Action Center for sustainable community development and an urban outpost for Midwest permaculture studies.

Performers: Rebecca Jasso, Robin Bienemann, Ami Saraiya, Alisa Rosenthal, Jonas Friddle, Phil Angotti, Jenny Bienemann, Robinlee Garber, Rachel Drew, Sue Fink, Ryan Suzuka, Zach Duenow, Jim Newcomb, Jeremy Babcock, Leah Shoshanah
